CHARGE OF THEFT
* YOUNG MAN REMANDED. A young man, 20 years of age, appeared at a special sitting of the Police Court this morning, before Messrs H. E. Pither and L. J. Taylor, Justices of the Peace, on a charge of the theft of a rug valued at £1 19s, the property of Louis McAvoy. The accused was remanded until Monday morning.
