WEDDING

HOWARD—JONES. The marriage took place recently at the bride’s sister’s residence, Mrs Francis Holmes, The Crescent, Roseneath, Wellington, of Miss Kathleen Jones, second daughter of Mr T. Jones, Wellington, and Mr Russell ("Russ”) Howard, eldest son of Mrs K. Howard, Palmerston North. The bride, who was escorted by her father, and attended by her sister as matron of honour, wore a slim fitting magnolia satin gown, her veil being a family heirloom. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr Malcolm Howard, as best man. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. R. Blanchard. A reception was held at the residence of the bride’s sister, where the usual toasts were honoured. The bride travelled in the latest n'ew model violet frock with squirrel cape and accessories to tone. Mr and Mrs R. Howard are residing in Master ton.
