Mr and Mrs J. Perry, Alfredton, are on a motor tour of Taranaki. Among guests at the Empire Hotel is Mrs McCarley and family (Taranaki). Miss N. Hewitt has returned to Pahiatua from a visit to Hamilton. Mrs H. Coston, of Te Kowhai, Hamilton, is the guest of Mrs J. Mountfort, Masterton Road. Pahiatua. Miss Marion Holdsworth, Masterton, has returned home after visiting friends in Christchurch. Mrs Patterson, of Wellington, is on a visit to Masterton and is staying at the Empire Hotel. Mr and Mrs J. W. Thornton, Lansdowne, who have been on a tour of the North Island, have returned home. Miss'W. Smith, who has recently arrived from the south of England, is the guest of Mrs L. J. Harding, Rexwood Street, Carterton. Miss P. Tayior, of Temuka, who has recently returned from an overseas tour, is the guest of Miss L. Wells, Villa Street, Masterton. Mrs Norman James, of Masterton, who has been spending several weeks in Auckland with her daughter, Mrs Stuart Wilson, of Orakei Road, Remuera, left in the limited express on Sunday night for her home.
