MAURICEVILLE PICTURES

SATURDAY’S PROGRAMME. Patrons of the Mauriceville pictures on Saturday night will have the opportunity of seeing an exceptionally fine picture entitled "Breaking the Ice” starring Bobby Breen and Irene Dare, the six-year-old ice-skating star, who makes her first appearance on the screen. Known as the "baby Sonja Henie” she will hold patrons spellbound with the magic of her swirling skates and her smile. Bobby Breen .is at his best in this picture, having six catchy songs to sing, including “Happy as a Lark.” Another reason why "Breaking the Ice” has broken all previous records is that Charlie Ruggles whose antics provide much merriment and other famous player, Dolores Costello and Charlie Murray, are included.
