NIGHT WEDDING PATTISON—KINSELA (“Times-Age” Special.) A wedding of considerable local interest was solemnised in St Andrew’s Church on Wednesday evening when Kathleen Georgina, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs W. J. Kinsela, “Mamildra.” was married to Edmund Stephen, youngest son of Mr and the late Mrs Josuah Pattison, of Clyde Bank, Wairoa. The church had been tastefully decorated for the occasion by friends of the bride. The Rev F. O. Ball performed tne ceremony and Mrs Sough ton presided at the organ. The bride, who was escorted by her father, was gracefully attired in a white slipper satin gown, cut on classical lines and falling in a long train. A tulle veil was worn over the face and held in place by a coronet of orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of white gladioli. The bridesmaid, Miss Margaret Lovell, of the West Coast, wore an old gold satin crinoline dress with a head spray of red French marigolds, and carried a bouquet to tone. The little flower girl, Janice Workman, niece of the bride, wore an old gold satin crinoline dress and carried 1 , a muff with a spray of flowers on it. Both the bridesmaid and the flower girl, wore pearl necklets, gifts from the groom.

Mr Brian Pattison, of “The Brow,” Waipawa, a cousin of the bridegroom, acted as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held in the Parish Hall. Mrs Kinsela received the guests wearing a black ensemble with a shoulder spray, and a peach bloom hat with ostrich feather. Mrs Hill, sister of the bridegroom, was in a powder blue gown and shoulder spray. When the Mr and Mrs Pattison left on their honeymoon the bride was wearing a green harris tweed costume with hat and accessories to match.

Mr and Mrs Pattison’s future home will be in Wairoa.
