Javanese Labourers Return.

After a term of service in the mining fields of New Caledonia, 56 indentured labourers from Java arc returning to their homeland by the Maetsuycker, which arrived at Auckland from Noumea the other day. The labourers are travelling between decks, sleeping and eating on the boards amid piles of household and personal property. Although they are happy in their surroundings, the labourers have felt the cold considerably as the ship has come further south and a special issue of blankets has been made tu them.
