Miss Harris (Palmerston North) is on a visit to Masterton, and is among the guests at the Prince of Wales Hotel. Mr and Mrs Burke (Wellington) are among the guests at the Hotel Midland. Guests at the Prince of Wales Hotel include Mrs Sidney Smith (Marton), and Miss Thomas, Wellington. Miss B. Bull, of Stanley Bay, Auckland. arrived in Carterton on Tuesday, and is staying with her aunt, Mrs A. W. Beale, Rexwood Street. Mrs W. Dickens, Pownall Street, Masterton. left yesterday on a three months’ visit to Whangarei, where she will be the guest of her daughter. The death is recorded of Mrs Margaret Jane Bary, relict of Mr James Bary, formerly master of the Mount Cook Boys’ School, Wellington. Mrs Bary was 72 years of age.
