MASTERTON CROQUET CLUB

ENJOYABLE BRIDGE PARTY. There was a most enjoyable gathering at the residence of Mrs. E. Bassett, Essex Street, Masterton, yesterday afternoon, when a bridge party was held in aid of the funds of the Masterton Croquet Club. There were five tables of bridge, the winners being Mrs Polson (first) and Mrs. Syron (consolation). Mrs. Polson (president of the club), thanked Mrs Bassett for haying loaned her house for the gathering and Mrs. I. McGregor for her assistance. Mrs. Polson also thanked those ladies present for "their attendance and support.
