NEW BRITISH POLICY
APPLICATION IN PALESTINE. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY. June 8. Steps are being taken to put into force the new British policy for Palestine in those particulars in respect of which immediate action is possible. An Order-in-Council, conferring upon the High Commissioner authority among other things to prohibit or regulate transfers of land as between Arabs and Jews, was published some days ago, and it is expected that details of the regulations drawn up under these powers, which will date from Mav 17. will be announced shortly. ‘
