BACON AND PORKER CLASSES, LONDON JUDGING. The judges report as follows: We have examined and judged these pigs and in the Bacon Class, No. 361, we awarded first prize to pen No 845, W. R. Daysh (3rd at Show, Ist at Waingawa). Second prize went to pen No. 851. G. W. Busby. The entries in this class were not very satisfactory. The two prize winners were the only two pigs really satisfactory foi' the bacon trade. Pen No. 842.—Heavy in the forequarters and too fat. Pen No. 844. Too fat. Pen No. 845.—G00d pig, long loins, good colour and good hams. Pen No. 846.—T00 fat. Pen No. 847. —Too fat and heavy (3rd at Show, 2nd Waingawa). Pen No- 848. —Too short in loins. Pen No. 851. —A good long loined pigs, good colour, but hams not quite so well up as pen No. 845. In the Porker Class, 362, we awarded pen No. 863, H. J. Brown, first prize (3rd at Show. 3rd Waingawa); pen No. 865, H. H. Cotter, second prize (2nd at Show’, Ist Waiingawa); pen No. 852, H. Rayner, third prize. In this class also the pigs were as a whole very indifferent, dark skinned and dark in the flesh. Pen No. 863 was a good, small, lean white pig, lean and well shaped. Pen No. 865 was also a well shaped pig and lean, but a trifle heavy for this class. Pen No. 861 was a good shaped pig, but not quite such a good colour as pens 863 and 865. Pen No 852 was a poor pig, dark skinned and dark flesh, too lean. Pen No 855, dark in flesh and wark skinned. Pen No 856, good shape, but dark skinned and too lean (2nd Waingawa).
