GOLF TOURNEY
RETURNED SOLDIERS’ ANNUAL CONTEST. WINNERS OF CAMPBELL HEARD CUP. The Returned Soldiers’ golf tournament held on the Riverside Club’s links yesterday, was concluded yesterday afternoon, .when a fourball was held for the Campbell Heard Cup. The winners were F. M. Cunningham and J. V. Walker, 7 up. W. Gordon and V. H. Heath and G. R. Booth and H. McIntyre were equal for second place with 5 up. A novelty driving competition was won by J. C. Feast. At the conclusion of the tourney Mr Feast presented the trophies to the winners and thanked the ladies who had provided afternoon tea, the Riverside Club for the use of its links and others who had assisted, including Mr Braggins, president of the Riverside Club.
Mr Braggins said the 1 club was only too pleased to place its links at their disposal.
