The weed known as “white daisy" is to be the subject of representations to the Agricultural Department by the Auckland City Council, which will ask that it be declared a noxious weed. This action was decided on following the health committee’s recommendation submitted at a meeting of the council following a suggestion contained in the report of the manager of the municipal abattoir. It was pointed out that until the manner of dealing with this weed was dealt with in a comprehensive way the burden of clearing it would fall on the council.
