RETURNING TO THE SCREEN
THE “GARBO” OF 20 YEARS AGO. Alla Nazimova, the Garbo of 20 years ago in Hollywood, who made audiences gasp then with her daring movie, “The Red Lantern,” is returning to the screen, in “The Rains Came” as the wife of the Maharajah. Tyrone Power, Myrna Loy,, and George Brent will head the cast. Miss Nazimova, who can still fill Broadway theatres, designs sets, writes scripts, and directs as well as acts in her stage plays. It was she who picked Rudolph Valentino for the role of Armand in “Camille.”
