REVUE AND BAND. The Young Australian Boys’ Band and Revue party will perform at the Opera House next Friday and Saturday. with a Matinee on Saturday at 2.15 p.m. These boys have travelled over 30,000 miles on tours of South Africa and other overseas countries, and played ■ seventy-eight consecutive performances in the city of Johannesburg. George Nichols, whose impersonations are such a feature of tlje programme, is such an adaptable mimic that he can visit a picture theatre, watch a character on the screen and immediately imitate that star’s voice, mannerisms and personality. Colin Croft, a 16-year-old boy, is a character artist of extraordinary ability, and his female impersonations are one of the highlights of the programme. Ron Morris, who is six feet five in height, is the tallest of the party, and a comejdian of outstanding ability. George Nichols specialises in Scotch comdey, and is regarded as Australia’s foremost juvenile comedian. He will be seen in comedy sketches and various character studies. Other outstanding lads are Charles Stanton, drum major, conductor and tap dancer; Fen Robertson, xylophonist; Neil Webb, champion cornet player of Victoria; Les Waterhouse; piano F-accordionist; George Schilling, pianist; Keith Withers, violinist; and many other accomplished lads. ■
