Hunter, Wellington, was a visitor to Masterton for the weekend. Mrs W. J. Allen, of Palmerston North, is now residing in Masterton. Mrs G. Pain, Martinborough, has left for Tauranga, where she intends to spend the winter. Mi- and Mrs A. Bennett. Renall Street, Masterton, are visiting Wellington. Mesdames Clarke and Matthews, of Wellington, are on a visit to Masterton, and are staying at the Hotel Midland. Mr and Mrs E. M. Hodder and family, Second Street, Lansdowne, spent the weekend at Paraparaumu Beach. Mrs Bresnahan, Gisborne, is staying with her daughter, Mrs E. Foreman, Gladstone. Miss Tinkharn, Blanket Nurse at Eketahuna, has left on a month’s holiday. i Mrs D. V. Sutton, who had been spending a holiday at Richmond, has returned to Kohinui. Mr and Mrs J. Young, Wellington, are on a visit to Masterton and are guests at the Prince of Wales Hotel. Mrs G. V. Edmonds, of Lower Hutt, who has been the guest of Mrs Mills, Perry Street, returned to her home by car last night. Mrs G. W. Sellar, Colombo Road, .Masterton, who has been staying at Paraparaumu Beach, has returned to Masterton. Miss Olive McLean, of Wellington, is at present spending a holiday in JVlasterton as the guest of Mrs L. McLean, Bentley Street, Masterton. Miss P. Van Praagh, Essex Street, Masterton, who has been staying with her sister, Mrs Murfitt, New Plymouth, has returned to Masterton. Mrs. J. N. Henson, of Wellsford, North Auckland, accompanied by her daughter, Miss Zelma Henson, is at present staying with her aunt, Mrs. A. Henson. Lansdowne. Mrs H. W. Thompson, of the nursing division of the St. John Ambulance Brigade, was in charge of the first aid facilities at the Wairarapa College grounds on Monday on the occasion of the junior hockey games played there. The services of the brigade members at tall the hockey games on Monday were very much appreciated by the players.
