LONDON QUOTATIONS ADVANCE IN LAMB PRICES. MUTTON MARKET IMPROVES. Lamb market: Prices have further advanced, with tone of market strong. Mutton market: Withers and ewes meeting with improved demand at the better prices. Beef market Frozen, fair trade at the unchanged prices; chilled, firmer this week on the lighter supplies. New Zealand porker pigs: Lightweights firmer but trade generally slow. New Zealand baconer pigs: Quiet, with prices unchanged. Boneless bobby veal: Firm on the lighter supplies. The above report was received yesterday by the Meat Board from its London office, which advises that the following are the ruling prices of wholesale quantities of the descriptions of frozen meat mentioned, and are for representative parcels of the goods sold on Thursday.'
