AIR RAID TUNNEL

INSPECTED AND OPENED BY DUKE OF KENT, (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 1. In the course of a tour in East Kent, the Duke of Kent opened and inspected the first section of the Ramsgate air raid shelter,- which is to consist of three miles of tunnell 60 feet -deep in chalk formation, sufficient -to accommodate the entire population of the town. Twenty-three separate entrances will be provided to the tunnel.
