A total of 258 deputies and 88 senators are being elected today and tomorrow, constituting the first Parliament since King Carol established his dictatorship last .year. All the candidates must be approved by the State-controlled Front of National Rebirth. Ten per cent of the population are entitled to vote for the deputies, and the professional classes are electing the senate.
