MAURICEVILLE TALKIES
TOMORROW’S PROGRAMME. “The Saint of New York,” lone wolf avenger and hero of Leslie Charteris’s best-selling detective novels, will be screened at Mauriceville tomorrow. Rarely has Hollywood offered a hero who is both a public enemy and a very likeable fellow. Such is "The Saint," that debonair modern Robin Hood, who makes war single-handed on seven criminals and wipes them out one by one. There are plenty of surprises and lense situations and a climax that is genuinely unexpected, when "The Saint” discovers the true identity of the real leader. Louis Hayward and Kay Sutton have the leading roles in the film and patrons should like this exciting film and consequently ask for .he remainder of “The Saint” series, which all feature the "Lone Wolf Avenger.” Excellent supports make this programme an outstanding one.
