S.M. COURT
SITTING AT MASTERTON. POLICE CASES. A sitting of the Masterton S.M. Court was held this morning before Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M. For not having carried a tail light on his trade motor, Peter Shires Rishworth was fined 5s with 10s court costs. Charged with having cycled without a light attached to his machine, Cecil Curtin was fined 10s with Ils court costs. For having failed to carry a warrant of fitness for a trade motor, Athol Prentice was fined £1 and 10s court costs. Because he failed to carry x a heavy traffic license P. G. Ashworth was fined £1 with costs amounting to 12s. A, fine of £1 and costs 12s was imposed on W. H. McKelvey, who was charged with having driven a motor without holding a driver’s license. On a charge of having carried no warrant of fitness for his motor-car, S. R. Kenny was convicted and fined £1 and 10s costs.
