BOXING BOUT
STOPPED BY DOCTORS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, May 30. A nasty cut over Wright’s right eye caused the doctors to stop the bout. Fisher had been ahead on points to that stage in a fast and bright exhibition. The sudden ending was not popular with a section of the crowd, who shouted disapproval of the shortness of the programme.
