INDOOR BASKETBALL
LAST NIGHT’S GAMES. EXCITING PLAY WITNESSED. Exciting play was witnessed las i night at the Y.M.C.A. gymnasium when a further round of the ladies competition was played. Lancers remain the only undefeated loam in the competition, defeating Woolworths after an exciting game. The results are as follow:—Lancer: beat Woolworths, 23/10; W.F.C.A. bea C. Smith. Ltd.. 36/10; Rovers bea' Y.M.C.A., 14/8; United beat Hugo & Shearers, 27/16. The representative teams played practice games against scratch teams the results beign:—Ladies: Representa live beat scratch team. 16/13. Men Representatives beat scratch team. 30/6. N.Z. TOURNAMENT.
