ALFREDTON TALKIES

PROGRAMME FOR SATURDAY. Jack Hulbert and Cicely Courtneidge return in their funniest comery since “Jack’s The Boy,” in “Take My Tip,” which will be presented at the Alfredton Talkies tomorrow night. It is indeed a long time since patrons have had the pleasure of seeing Jack Hulbert and Cicely Courtneidge together in a film. In the opinion of many keen, patrons they always have been England’s most outstanding pair of fun-makers. Here indeed is their most brilliant comedy, never letting up on crazy situations, witty dialogue, tuneful numbers and lavish settings for one moment. “Take My Tip” careers along upon a laugh-ter-making campaign that hits home with every line of dialogue. This is a film the whole family woud enjoy. Also shown will be “Hawaiian Holiday” (in colour) and a Mickey Mouse cartoon.
