MOTOR RELICENSING

OVER THOUSAND PLATES STILL OUTSTANDING. EXTENSION OF POST OFFICE HOURS. Motorists have little time left in which to relicence their motor-vehicles for the forthcoming year, as the new plates have to be affixed by Thursday morning, June 1. Up to last night. 2058 plates had been issued, leaving over, a thousand outstanding, of which number it is estimated that about 400 will require to be- secured before Thursday morning. In order to meet the requirements of the public it has been decided to extend the hours for licensing at the Post Office until 8 o’clock both tonight and tomorrow night.
