NEW ZEALAND MEAT
PUBLICITY CAMPAIGN. Improved industrial conditions prompted the London organisation of the New Zealand Meat Producers Board to venture on a publicity campaign for New Zealand Meat in the County of Monmouthshire last March. Practically without exception, both retailers and wholesalers in the trade co-operated in the campaign as they realised the benefit derived from the previous effort. Newspaper advertising, with prizes for the best displays, the decorated cycle competition, and painting competitions for school-children were conducted with an excellent response and the Board used a striking new poster which has as the background a New Zealand Flag, wh(le in the foreground is the picture of a lamb, and the appeal to buy New Zealand, and see that it is branded “New Zealand.” The High Commissioner for New Zealand (Mr W. J. Jordan) attended the nrize-giving gathering and addressed about 160 representatives of the meat trade on tne broader aspects of reciprocal trading.
