INTER-CLUB GOLF. TEAM TO PLAY FEATHERSTON. (“Times-Age’’ Special.) The following players will represent the local Golf Club in the inter-club match against Featherston at the weekend:—B. McMaster, D. Tikao, T. Hume, D. Jones, G. Munro, G. Sutherland, M., McLeod, J. Riwai, M. Herangi, R. McDougall, J. Carter, S. and G. Hall, K. and M. Waiwera, S. Thomas, W. Charteris and F. Lovegrove. Personal Items. Miss Matenga is staying with her aunt, Mrs Johnson, Battcrslea. Mr and Mrs V. Saunders have left for Rotorua, where Mr Saunders will undergo treatment at the baths. Queen Carnival Concert. A very enjoyable concert was given by a concert party from South Featherston on Wednesday evening in the local hall. The proceeds were in aid of Miss Tocker’s candidature in the Plunket Queen contest.
