PRE=WEDDING PARTY

MISS E. McLEAN AS GUEST. (“Times-Age” Special.) At the residence of Mr and Mrs A. Knutson, Clifton Avjenue, Carterton, on Saturday evening a party was tendered by a number of the friends of Miss Edna McLean, who is shortly to be married. The hostesses were Mesdames Knutson, Manley, Stubbs and Miss Peters. Games and competitions were indulged in and during the evening, Mr Gordon Hughan, on behalf of those present, in a happy speech, asked Miss McLean to accept a cheque. The guest suitably thanked her friends for their kindness. Miss McLean will be tendered another social in the Clareville Hall tonight by Carrington and West. Taratahi friends.
