A large number is expected from Australia and representatives from England and America. The site was an ideal one and she appealed for equipment and funds to make the camp a success. Mrs Riddiford stressed the educational value of guiding, and spoke of the enthusiasm shown by Guides for camping. One Guide would be chosen from each company and the cost per Guide would be £2, this amount to include an all day. visit to the Centennial Exhibition.

Miss Ractliffe, District Captain, submitted a list of equipment to be lent to the camp from the Masterton companies and the Association, decided to donate £5 towards the fund.
