• WAIRARAPA PARTY TO VISIT SOUTH ISLAND. A party of 32 Young Farmers from Wairarapa and Bush District clubs will etour the South Island in June. Mr W. James, of Masterton, will be in charge of the party. The itinerary is as follows:—Wednesday, June 7. arrive" Picton; Thursday,. June 8, leave Picton for Blenheim, arriving in time for lunch, with visits to farms en route; Friday, June 9, leave Blenheim for Nelson via Havelock, visits en route; Saturday, June 10, at Nelson, visits to Cawthron Institute and farms; Sunday, June 11, leave Nelson for Greymouth, via Westport; Monday, June 12, leave Greymouth for Franz Josef Glacier and Waiho Gorge; Tuesday, June 13, at Franz Josef Glacier; Wednesday, June 14, leave Glacier for Hokitika; Thursday, June 15, leave Hokitika for Christchurch, via Otira Pass; Friday, June 10, at Christchurch, visit to Akaroa Peninsula and farms; Saturday, June .17, at Christchurch, visits to Lincoln College; leave for Wellington. There are still vacancies for two members of Young Farmers’ Clubs to .join the tour. Accommodation has been arranged for 32 and so far 30 have applied. Early application is desired from those who wish to go ..on tour.
