The following is the draw for the first and second rounds of the Wairarapa Badminton Association’s A ana B grade inter-club competitions, the club mentioned first in each instance being the home team. Detailed results are to be forwarded immediately after the match to the Association’s secretary (C. J. Carle, c/o “Wairarapa Times-Age”):— A Grade. June 1: Masterton A v. Regent; Nomads v. Martinborough; Masterton B a bye. June 12: Martinborough v. Masterton A; Masterton B v. Nomads; Regent a bye. B Grade. June 1: Hugos v. Nomads B; Regent v. Nomads A; St. Matthew's A v. Methodist B; St. Matthew’s B v. Martinborough; Methodist A v. Red Star. June 10: St. Matthew’s A v. Regent; Methodist B v. Nomads A; St. Matthew’s B v. Methodist A; Red Star v. Hugos; Nomads B v. Martinborough. The matches are to be played by the date stated.
