LANSDOWNE SCHOOL

NEWLY-FORMED ASSOCIATION. CARD PARTY & PADDY’S MARKET. Steady progress is being made by the newly-formed Lansdowne Home and School Association. An active membership campaign is in view and everything points to a strong and live body being built up. As there are many matters requiring attention to bring the school grounds and surroundings up to the standard desired it is confidently felt that a ready response will be made by parents. The first gathering to be held by the association will be a card party on Saturday next in the new school, commencing at 7.30 p.m. This will be followed by a Paddy’s Market to be held on Wednesday, June 28 in a Queen Street shop. ■
