GOLF CLUB GAMES. FLAG COMPETITION WON BY P. PAGE. (“Times-Age” Special.) ; The Eketahuna Golf Club members experienced an enjoyable time on Saturday when some good golf was witnessed in the various competitions. The men’s flag competition was won by P. Page who carried the flag to the 18th green. K. Marenzi, who was sec'ond, finished at the 17th hole. In a men’s four ball'bogey competition the best scorek were: P. Bouzaid and M. Fraser 4 up, O. Walton and J. Tuckett 3 up, P. Page and J. Dickson 2 up, A. Wilson and E. Simmers 1 up. In the ladies’ stableford bogey competition Miss Angus scored 32 points and Miss A. Simmers 31 points.

BUSH FOOTBALL RESULTS. WINS FOR EKETAHUNA TEAMS. COMPETITION LEADERS BEATEN. The senior football competition on Saturday provided a surprise, the competition leaders, Mangatainoka, being beaten by Konini. Eketahuna seniors gained a splendid win over Marima by 6 points to 3. The results wejje as follow: — Senior. Eketahuna 6, Marima 3. . Pahiatua 0, Hamua 0. Konini 9. Mangatainoka 6. Hukanui 9, Nireaha 0. Third Grade. Eketahuna 6. Nireaha 0. Mangatainoka 3, Pahiatua A 0. Hukanui 13, Pahiatua B 5. ■For the Eketahuna seniors Hausman and Wattereus scored tries. Marima’s score was a penalty goal. The Eketahuna scorers in the third grade match were Evans and Morrison each registering a try.
