SOUTH FEATHERSTON
QUEEN CARNIVAL. ENJOYABLE EUCHRE. (“Times-Age’’ Special.) Mrs Wakeley was hostess at a very enjoyable party held at Kelvin Grove on Friday night. Euchre was played, the prize-winners being as follow: Ladies: Mrs R. W. Fuge, 1; Mrs Sim, 2. Men: R. W. Fuge, 1; M. Anderson, 2. After supper Mr J. Bain thanked Mrs Wakeley on behalf of the Red candidate (Miss Ngaire Tocker) for her hospitality. The competition for a salad bowl was drawn, the winner being Mrs H. M. Willis.
