OPPOSITION IN SCOTLAND. TRADES UNION CONGRESS DECISION. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Received This Day, 12.20 p.m.) LONDON, May 21. The Scottish Trades Union Congress meeting in Glasgow decided to cease co-operating in national service work and to call on all trade unions to oppose conscription. The Scottish Peace Congress, at Edinburgh, opposed conscription and urged a British, French and Russian co-operation with America and all countries prepared to resist aggression.
