Three hotel fires occurred in Lancashire yesterday, one in Yorkshire, one at Eastbourne and one at Margate. It is believed that they were started by members of the I.R.A. In each case men booked rooms in which they left suitcases and . disappeared, after which fires broke out. The police discovered paraffin and explosives. BOMB IN BELFAST WINDOWS OF HOUSE BLOWN OUT. TENANTS ESCAPE INJURY. (Received This Day, 9.45 a.m.) BELFAST, May 21. A bomb, placed on a footpath, blew out the windows of a house near the centre of the city. The tenants of the house escaped injury.
