CAR CAPSIZES NEAR WOODVILLE. EXTRAORDINARY ACCIDENT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WOODVILLE, May 20. The capsizing of a light car while rounding a bend on the main NapierPaimerston North highway this morning resulted in the instant death of a woman occupant. She was: Mrs Elizabeth Ann Worley, widow, aged 60, who resided at 26 Edward Street, Napier. The accident occurred about six miles north of Woodville, on a sharp bend on the Woodville side of Matahiwi hill. ■ ■ Mrs Worley, who was accompanied by her- son, Mr Alexander Worley, was travelling from Napier to Palmerston North with a view to assisting in the arrangements for the marriage of her youngest son.. The accident, according to reports received by the Woodville police, was an extraordinary one. A high wind was blowing at the time, and as the car was rounding the bend well on its correct side of the road the left wheels ran into the water-table at the side of the bitumen. While being pulled back on to the bitumen the car stood on its nose, rolled completely over, and came to rest on its four wheels, side on in the centre of the bitumen. Mrs Worley received head injuries from which she died instantly. Mr Worley escaped with a severe shaking and shock.
