INSTITUTE DANCE

ENJOYABLE GATHERING. The Solway-Manaia Women’s Institute held a very successful dance recently, there being over 100 dancers present. Mr J. West was the pianist, extras being played by - Messrs McKay and Volheim (piano accordians). Belle Henderson delighted those present with elocutionary and dance items. The Monte Carlo dance was won by Mr Whittaker and partner. The beautifully decorated hall produced much favourable comment, the ladies’ committee being warmly congratulated on their work.
