Mrs Claude Corbett, of Lower Hutt, who has been on a visit to Masterion, returned home today. / Mr and Mrs T. A.-Strathan and family, of ■ Apiti, are the guests of Mrs Charles Udy, of Hukanui. Mrs A. E. Preston has returned to Wellington from a visit to her mother, Mrs V. E. Donald, Lansdowne. Mr and Mrs L. Kibblewhite, who are on a motor tour of the North Island, will return to Masterton at the weekend. The Misses Dunwoodie have returned to Masterton after having spent a week’s vacation with their uncle, Mr T. Dunwoodie, Napier. Mrs J. Thorn, wife of the member for Thames, is visiting Masterton, and is the guest of her sister, Mrs Lillian McKenzie, Queen Street. Mrs and Miss Twentyman, of Hukanui, will leave by the Awatea for a prolonged holiday in Australia. While there they will be the guests of the formers’ son, Mr D. Twentyman. Mrs H. T. Wood, formerly of Masterton, who spent the weekend at Masterton, left with her son, Mr Gordon VZood on a motor trip to Wanganui and New Plymouth, after which she will spend a few days in Masterton prior to returning ,to Wellington.
