Large Oyster Urop.

The AuckJanu oyster crop will prob-

ably be larger next season than last, according to estimates that have been made. Next season it may reach 5000 sacks. The inspector of fisheries at Auckland, Captain C. Daniel, expects that there will also be an improvement in quality. A start, will be made with the picking of oysters at the beginning of next month, and a tortnight later the marketing period will open.
