MINIATURE RIFLES MATCH. HONOURS EVEN. (“Times-Age” Special.) The first match of the season was fired at Greytown last night between Martinborough and Greytown. W. Kilgour. and six ladies. YOUNG FARMERS' CLUB. DEBATING TEAM SELECTED. A meeting of the Greytown Young Farmers' Club was held in the Fire Brigade hall on Monday night. Mr Ray Ingley presided over t( good attendance. After the business of the meeting had been completed, a practice debate was held against the team that is to go to Featherston on Wednesday night. The final selection by the judges. Messrs R. Beu and N. Skeet, was: —Leader. Mr V. Gates; second speaker. Mr A. Saywell; third speaker, Mr D. Jordon: emergency, Mr R. Ingley. Some good points were made, and it is anticipated that the team will put up a good performance against Featherston.
