Jensen, of Belvedere Road, Carterton, who has been an, inmate of Masterton Hospital for some considerable time returned to his home yesterday. It will be some time before he will be able to resume his work. Mr and Mrs Arthur Ingley, who have spent a holiday at the seaside, Waikanae, returned to Carterton yesterday. Mr W. E. Fossette, headmaster of the Carterton District High School, left Carterton with Mr and Mrs Fossette, Senr, for Wanganui yesterday where* Mr Fossette will, take up his appointment as headmaster of the Wanganui Intermediate School. His successor has not yet been appointed to Carterton. Mr and Mrs L. D. Keedwell left Carterton yesterday for Hawera, where Mr Keedwell has accepted promotion to the Hawera District High School. Mr Keedwell had been in Carterton for the past six years. Mr Thos King, Master of Carter Old Men’s Home, Carterton. has received a cable message from Somersetshire announcing the death of his mother. Mrs King had been in indifferent health for a long time past. Mr and Mrs King will have the sympathy of a large circle of Carterton friends in their bereavement.
