A graceful tribute to New Zealand and the memory of New Zealanders who gave their lives in the Great War was paid by the members of the Vienna Mozart Boys’ Choir in Dunedin. They marched to the Queen’s Gardens, an impressive little company in their grey and blue uniforms, and to a most appropriate accompaniment from hundreds of birds in the surrounding trees, placed a wreath on the cenotaph. Their singing of the ' old German Easter hymn, “Christ is I Reborn,” under the direction of their 1 conductor, Dr Georg Gruber, lent dis- ] tinction to the occasion. The president of the Dunedin branch of the Returned Soldiers’ Association, Mr J. M. White) and members of his executive were present, and the ceremony was shared by a fair crowd.
