Harcombe 2 .6 Donations may be forwarded to the Plunket Society, the Mayor, the Town Clerk, or to “Times-Age” Office. PROPOSED DONATION NOT APPROVED IBY HOSPITAL BOARD. PROTEST BY MR W. B. MARTIN. A proposal to make a grant of lOgns to the Sir Truby King Memorial Fund was defeated at today’s meeting of the Wairarapa Hospital Board by 9 votes to 7. The majority of members considered that it was a question of individual contribution. When the motion was lost Mr W. B. Martin said: “I regret very much the decision of the board and I am surprised at the majority of the members.”
