WINTER SPORTS CLUB
SUCCESSFUL CLUB NIGHT. GOOD FORM SHOWN BY MEMBERS. The Masterton Winter Sports Club held a highly successful “club night on Saturday, the large attendance ol olayers showing good form. Messrs J. Haywood and M. Winsladc ■ were occupied for a period in coaching some of the novices. Members expressed their satisfaction with the new hall and its appointments. • , Several of the new members give promise of becoming outstanding players, among whom Peter Greenlees is showing excellent style and pace while G. Shcrrbck. L. Ferguson and Miss D. Whyte are players who are improving ■ a p idly. ______
