GANG OUTRAGES
EXPLOSIONS IN LONDON IN UNDERGROUND STATIONS AND HAMMERSMITH. ONLY MINOR DAMAGE DONE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON, May 13. Three explosions occurred in London today, gelignite being used each time. It is believed that the same gang was responsible, operating in motorcar or taxi. An explosion in the public lavatories of the Marble Arch underground stat’on brought crowds from Hyde Park. Nobody was hurt but a door was blown off and walls damaged. The second explosion occurred in the subway at the corner of Harrow Road and Edgeware Road, and the third in Hammersmith Broadway, causing negligible damage.
