RAPID CLEARANCE IN ALL MARKETS. COMMENT BY DAWSON & CO ON LONDON SALES. By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright. (Received This Day, 11.5 a.m.) LONDON, May 12. Messrs H. Dawson and Co, commenting on the wool sales, says the market was lopsided. Slipes were in keenest demand owing to Government orders, but Merinos were quiet and with somewhat weak tendency.
The most significant feature, it is added, is the abnormally rapid clearance of all available supplies in all the world’s markets.
