TRUST POLL
EXTRAORDINARY VACANCY.
MR H. W. DALE ANNOUNCED AS CANDIDATE.
A third nomination was received yesterday afternoon for the extraordinary vacancy on the Trust Lands Trust, that of Mr Henry Wallace Dale, who was nominated by Dr N. H. Prior and Mr E. M. Hodder. The other candidates in the field for this seat are Messrs Bert. Page and W. L. Butler. Nominations close at noon on Monday. The poll will be taken on Thursday, May 25, when voters of the Small Farms Area will also be called upon to elect three representatives to fill the ordinary vacancies. The candidates for these seats are Messrs A. Owen Jones, E. G. Eton, and C. E. Grey (retiring members seeking re-election) and Mr J. T. Jameson.
