AIRS GAINEY’S DEATH

' CORONER’S VERDICT. Before Mr S. G. H. Hogg (coroner) an inquest was held at Pahiatua on Thursday into the death of Magnetta Ruth Gainey, married woman, of Pongaroa, who died in the Pahiatua Public Hospital on April 29 last, following being involved in a motor accident. The finding was that death was due. in accordance with medical evidence, to congestion of the lungs and bronchitis, supervening on injuries received in a motor accident on April 24, 1939 in which her husband was the driver of the car involved.
