MINIATURE RIFLE CLUB.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS. ("Times-Age” Special.) At a meeting at which there was a good attendance it was decided to reform the Miniature Rifle Club. The following officers were elected: —Patron, Mr A. H. Herbert; president, Mr W. Hornblow; vice-president, Mr W. Dawson; secretary, Mr H. Price; treasurer, Mr O. Walton; committee; Messrs Holford, Robinson, N. Parsons, Reynolds ana West. KAIPARORO TENNIS CLUB. WIND-UP OF SEASON. There was a large attendance at a dance held by the Kaiparoro Tennis Club to wind up a very successful season. Items were contributed by the following: —Mr.H. Jackson (piano-accor-dion), Master Noel Dick (mouth-organ solos, and “Pop Eye”, Mr Don Falkner, vocal solos with self-accompaniment (guitar) and Mr F. Sigvertsen (vocal solos). The club president (Mr G. A. Hansen) presented the trophies won during the season as follow: —Ladies’ Handicap Championship Cup (presented by .Messrs Henson Bros) won by Mrs Harvley. Men’s Handicap Championship Cup (presented by Mrs McAnulty, snr), won by Mr H. Wolland. J. Curry's trophy, won by Mrs Harvey. Mrs Moore’s tropny, won by Mr J. Monaghan. Yankee Tournament trophy presented by Messrs A. Falkner and G. Hansen, won by Mr H. Wolland. The' “lucky spot” dance was won by Miss D. Dick and Mr F. Sigvertsen and a Masterton couple won the Monte Carlo. The. music was supplied by Jack Barnes’s orchestra and Mrs G. A. Hansen contributed an extra. Hastwell Domain. Messrs C. B. Seymour, A. B. Thorby, T. J. Manihera, H. Elliott and V. W. Caseley have peen appointed as members of the Hastwell’ Domain Board. The domain occupies an area of over 12 acres.
