HOW TO DEAL WITH THEM. If you notice that moths are in a carpet,, spread a wet rough towel over the infected spots and iron it dry with a hot iron. The heat and steam will do the job. Camphor and tobacco are only precautions —the steam process is the practical one. Flea powder sprinkled over the carpet occasionally in the dark corners will keep off moths.
